The Small Kitchen is currently divided from the dining room by a wall with a small opening. On the entry to the kitchen, there is a pantry. In the redesign, this Pantry was removed to include built-in cabinets. The design developed as an open kitchen and dining room because the facility is meant for community interaction. The design maintains a cozy feel with plenty of Natural light.
